    Hello.
I recently purchased a MD802 to turn the ABS light off of my 2001 (8500GVM) Japanese Toyota Dyna XZU400 and  hoped that all the great reviews on the MD802 were a good place to start.
I purchased the authentic Autel 23pin Toyota OBD1 adapter, a authentic Autel extension cable and was hooked up and ready to go.
To my surprise, although compatibility with DYNA is advertised and in the MD802, there is nothing about the XZU400, quite a few variations but nothing of the XZU400. I received the frustrating "Tester Cannot Communicate" error and followed all instructions without success either using the OBD function or the SCAN function.
I have read the manual several times, watched instructional videos and updated all software yet still the persistent error occurs.
The device appears so fantastic, I would just like to ask for assistance from anyone on this matter, I really want to keep the Autel, this was an urgent purchase to see if the ABS code is repeating.
Thankyou in advance for any support

Hello Mark, please check if there is 17pin or 23pin connector on your car. If yes, then it use flash code, which is currently not supported.

Are no Toyotas with this pin out configuration supported? I thought it would as bought this as a complete Autel set, MD802 with connector and cable. In manual scan you can select the vehicle, and it comes back with the correct engine, but I cannot connect to a single controller on the car with ignition on.
